Absolutely the worst experience Ever! After getting my mom back from Ms after my dad's death, we had to buy her a bed. I went into Mattress Firm in Hopkinsville, Ky explained to them that it was really important I get it delivered by that Saturday he said it wouldn't be a problem. I was called the day before we were supposed to get the mattress saying that it couldn't be delivered because they were out of stock. I was so upset I told the guy I had to call back. My daughter then called them back and said this is unacceptable, you've upset my mom and my nana still doesn't have a bed and the guy said they would give us $60 off, WOW $60 off of a $1,700 purchase. Well I figured we can wait until next weekend since we already paid for it and that it is what it is. I get the phone call from the delivery people saying they were on their way and told my husband to be watching out because I was at work. I was so excited my mom was finally getting a bed. My husband called me back about 20 minutes later and ask exactly what I spent, I told him about 1700, he said well they came but they only brought a mattress nothing else not the frame, nothing. So I was like are you kidding me?! He said he wished he was but told them to take it back since it wasn't the complete order. I hung up the phone and called the sales people at Mattress Firm and he says well that doesn't make any sense, not even offering to find a solution or anything, just "I don't know I don't know what happened I don't know". I told him, I have got to get a bed for my mom, she's sleeping on a recliner and I want my money back so we can make arrangements elsewhere for a bed and I get off of work at 5 and I will be stopping by for it to be refunded, he said that's fine. Once I got home I went ahead and picked up my husband and my mom who has a really hard time getting around, needs a walker, and can't go very far walking distance, so we can go to another mattress place after I get her a refund and try to arrange for another delivery date. When I get to the Mattress Firm the salesperson I was talking to said he couldn't give me the refund because the matress has not returned back to the warehouse and they can't release it until they've returned. Well my husband was there and said you need to do something, yes he used a few cuss words, he was upset for not only me but my mom also, he raised his voice and then they were both raising their voices and the guy decided to pick up the phone and call 911. I told my husband calm down go to the car, I'll take care of this, which he did. So here I'm trying to talk to this guy but he has no feelings no nothing about trying to resolve this, his only priority was to stay on the phone with 911. Well since he wouldn't listen to me or give me my money back I called the police on my own and told them I needed an officer because this guy won't give us a refund for a product that was supposed to have been delivered a week ago and then didnt follow through a week later as promised, so, therefore, right now they're stealing from us. The officer showed up and I finally got the salesperson to hush a minute while I finish a sentence, apparently having a cop there convinced him that he maybe need to hush up and listen to me. Well, I still haven't gotten a refund and he said it wouldn't happen till the next day and I told him to fax me the copy because I'm not stepping foot in that place ever again. I asked the police officer if he needed anything else from me and he did not so I left. We went to a competitor, Sleep Outfitters, which by the way is where I should have gone in the first place because they sold us our bed and were great at that time.In addition, the guy at mattress firm told me it wasn't his responsibility to follow through on the sell, just to sell the products. He also wouldn't give me the district managers contact. What kind of a place is this?! My family has had the hardest past few weeks of our lives, just to be treated like this. Never Ever again!
