The place was great. Breakfast was great too. Loved the free WiFi and cable with the double bed. But when I went to take a shower there wasn't any hot water. I went to the front desk to ask about it and they told me they were working on it. It never got fixed. I had to shower in cold water. They didn't even offer to give me a discount or anything to make me happy. Not even sorry.
The hotel is right off the highway which made it a perfect place to watch the eclipse. The room was adequate and clean. The towels were rough to the touch and the water does not get hot in the shower. The breakfast line was long and many items were empty for longer than those in line were willing to wait. We booked using a hotel scheduling website and the hotel staff tried to charge us a much higher price. We will watch our CC account to ensure the charge we agreed to is what we end up paying.
The customer service is good. The place is clean and well maintained. The rooms are nice and housecleaning does a good job. The breakfast is ok, nothing special, but better than nothing. The parking lot and grounds are clean and kept up. There is a patio for sipping bourbon after the day is done.

I stayed during the solar eclipse so the prices were very high. At most times I hope the prices is on the lower side because that is the value of this hotel. The rooms are small, ours was missing bulbs in the lamps making it hard to see even in a small room. Breakfast choices were very poor especially at the prices they were charging us. It felt rather disorganized. Elevator squeaked and jerked alarmingly thank goodness its only three floors so if it falls it wont be too much of a smash. Corridors reek of tobacco smoke as the smoking and non smoking rooms are mixed together in the hall. Halls are festooned with ‘glade plug ins’ to try and reduce the smell. Rooms are nice and comfortable enough. Its not a bad hotel as long as the price is right.
Broken TV, Dirty Towel left in shower, AC was awful and did not get colder than 66 (very uncomfortable). Breakfast was gone both days. Very distinct odor of smoke and stink. Cleaning staff and front desk gal from night shift were nice.
