nice to have a pet store back in hopkinsville. prices are a little on the expensive side but they have a huge selection of cat/dog food. lots of toys. decent selection of chinchilla/rabbit food n toys. staff is super friendly.

Saturday, June 17 2017, myself and my kids stopped in to pick up some cat toys. Upon walking around the store, right before closing, my kids fell in love with a kitten that was up for adoption. We left and first thing on Sunday, June 18 2017, when the store opened, I called and asked if the little guy was still available. The lady I spoke to assured me he was. I called back later and asked if the kitten could be held for me to pick up today, June 19 2017, when I got off of work at 5. The lady told me they usually did not do this, but would this one time. She took down my contact information, my phone number, and the kittens information. I called back that same night, right before close, and got confirmation that the kitten was being held, I would pick him up at 5 on Monday. Today I got off work and eagerly drove to pick up our new fur-baby. It was going to be a surprise for my kids, but i was so excited, that i just had to tell them. I pulled up, went inside, bought kitten supplies, and the lady told me I needed cash to adopt this little guy. I left, got the money and rushed back, only to be told the kitten I was promised would be there had been adopted. I was devistated. The ladies working offered me no answers, one of them being a manager. I asked how this could happen?? I called and confirmed three times!!! The ladies just stared at me as if I was at fault. I returned the kitten supplies and went home to deliver the bad news. I am happy this kitten got a new home, but what kind of place runs like this? Is there no communication? Why promise something you can't fulfill? This kind of treatment/service is completely unacxeptable. I would give this store zero stars if i could.

Employees there do not try to offer assistance, only say hello when you enter the store and that's it. They have a cat adoption center. In the cages, the litter boxes needed to be emptied and it really made the store stink enough to gag a person when they first enter the facility. Those cats shouldn't have live that way in such small cages like that.

They have everything your fur baby needs, they also sell pets. The only this is something were a little expensive. But I love that place.

Great people they will help with everything you need. Also Hallie in the pet grooming is awesome she does my huskies and I loved the way the where when she was finished
