Knight Appliance replaced the compressor in my fridge about a year ago. The whole process took about a month from diagnosis to repair. Two weeks ago my fridge and freezer temperatures starting gradually increasing again and after making half a dozen calls and leaving voicemails, I called a different service company. This other company made the repair in about a week's time (The compressor was replaced again). I have found Knight Appliance to be mostly unresponsive to calls and generally disorganized.
One of the few local stores left and definitely worth checking out when you need appliances. They will beat the chain stores prices and service what they sell. I don't know about the other reviewers issues, but I have NEVER had a problem with their service. They have saved me from buying a new piece several times by just replacing a part. As far as the service call comments, try calling a plumber, hvac guy, or any repairman and see if they don't charge you just for coming out.
Very helpful team. I needed to fix my dryer door, and thought I would have to buy a new fastener. They showed me the extra fastener included with the dryer and how to change it, in store. No charge. Good people!
Horrible! picky and usually send inexperienced young man first, when the issue persists then they send a more experienced person. The service fees are extremely expensive.You better search Google for more reliable company.
Great people, great products, great prices. We priced all of our appliances with Lowe's because everybody always thinks the big box stores are cheaper. Well, they aren't. James Knight Appliance beat Lowe's by several hundred dollars and we got better appliances.
Went in to buy a new HE Front Load washer and dryer set. They talked us into a top load Speed Queen set that was cheaper, better, and has much better reviews on EVERY website. They beat Lowe's best price by a few hundred bucks. Will buy all of our appliances from them in the future.
Diane, J.R., and Paula are always great about answering any questions that you have and give you great advice on what works best for your needs. They even talked us into cheaper models than what we initially wanted. I won't buy appliances anywhere but here from now on.
