Absolutely loved my prenatal massage at 32 weeks. I think the baby enjoyed it more than I did!

I have a stressful, physically demanding job. I have had many massages, but this one was the most therapeutic massage I have ever had. I enjoyed the many textures applied to my back, the warm towels and steam- awesome, and the oils were incredible. thank you very much!

I booked 2 60 min sessions with my mother on April 7. Mom had Danielle for a Swedish and had a wonderful massage. I booked a deep tissue with Candice. When I arrived I mentioned wanting to feel taller, which I normallly do after a massage. She asked if I wanted a "raindrop" I asked what it was and she responded that she uses essential oils. I wrongly assumed that it was a deep tissue massage using aromatherapy. It was a different technique entirely that was only about 40 min. I left 1/4 inch taller but still with knots and pain that would have been alleviated with a deep tissue like I had booked. Had I known, I would NOT have opted for this treatment. Personally a deep tissue is much better, as I am still carrying tension and low back pain. If she had explained that it was not a deep tissue I would have declined. The communication was very poor, and we didn't even get started until 20 min after my appointment time since the therapists were not on the property until 5 or 7 min before our appointment time. I am thankful that my mom left feeling relaxed, but the raindrop treatment is not what I wanted or was expecting. Better communication in the future, please! Just saying "I use essential oils" does not translate as "this is not a deep tissue massage"---which is the only thing I was looking for today. I will send my mother back but I will not be returning. I also don't think the 45 min "rain drop" is worth the same price as a deep tissue ($60).

I had won the WHOP contest for a 30 minutes massage. I upgraded it to a 1 hour deep tissue service and it relieved the tension out of my shoulders and it was so relaxing. I slept great last night! I have already set my next appointment and I suggest that anyone that is in need of a get-away for some relaxation to set their appointment at The Spa. I am sure that you will get the individualized attention that your need! And by the way, thank you WHOP and Traci Harris-Mason for the prize!

I've had a gift certificate since mother's day and have yet to use it because no one ever answers the phone when my husband or I call to schedule my appointment. Not very good for business if you never answer the phone.
