Wrong. He went through every inch of my purse, my wallet, etc. Now my wallet is a mess, but he made a huge deal about it, scattering receipts everywhere, fanning cash, etc. Ok, fine. That's a security check.. Over the top and pretty goofy, but ok. Then, Jerk #3.. This bull headed /beast of a woman then abruptly bellowed ~ full drill seargant mode "Hands straight out to the front, and pass through now !!"
What the Heck is wrong with you people? It would be comical if it wasn't so blatantly asinine.
Christian County Justice Center :
I'm nice to people when I greet them. I'm polite. I smile. I ask for information in courteous way because I was raised to have manners and respect for other people. .
Rude.
It has been a few years since I've had any civic business to conduct in that building.. And both times, I've had to deal with arrogant, stone faced, rude men.. and women.
And then today. I went in to request an excuse for jury duty, since I've already moved to Tennessee, but still own property in Kentucky. Since I don't frequent the building, I walked through the front door and immediately began looking at the signs posted, trying to decide where I needed to go.
He brushed my paper aside, ( I should mention this was St 2-ish in the afternoon, Monday, and I was the ONLY person in line) and thrust a basket in my face. "place all items in the basket, ma'am" . I complied, saying nothing because I assumed that they would place my small purse /keys and cellphone on the little conveyor thing and I'd be on my way.
The first time I encountered Jerk #1, I politely inquired as to where I needed to go to address a ticket /warning for expired tags. I was issued a warning from HPD, which required that I come in to show proof of renewal. This dimwit demanded to see my ticket, and then proceeded to sneer to coworkers, directly in front of me, and announce to everyone that " I wouldn't have given a non-paid ticket"..
I'm thinking to myself, Now who asked you, buffoon? And how is that remotely pertinent to the question that I asked? Just uncalled for and unprofessional.
They are so rude. I called in to inquire about there location and how much my citation will be and the operator cuts me off while I was speaking, she and not allowing me to ask what I needed do, and she rushed me off the phone. I'm suppose to go to traffic court on 8/30 and I'm scared as to how they treat me once I get there. I pray that I make it through this, and promise that I will never go over the speed limit again in Hopkinsville, KY They are really Petty, and rude.
Horrible they are so mean I'm 21 and IV never been treated so badly I go in for my permit and they rushed me and made fun of my disorganization...that kinda hurt my feelongs
Jerk #2 immediately barked: "where do you Need to be?" I smiled, approached him and tried showed him my jury mailed slip and said "I need to be on the 2nd floor, I think. It's about jury duty"
Is it remotely possible to hire courteous security personnel at the front entrance? Is it too much for law abiding, tax paying citizens to expect, at the very least polite professionalism?
Smh.. As I said, I understand that there are security /safety measures that are necessary in government buildings. Those guys are ridiculous, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude.
